Visa-Free Access

Citizens of many countries may enter Indonesia visa-free for short stays (typically up to 30 days for tourism). Eligible nationalities and permitted durations vary; confirm your country's status at the official immigration portal before arrival.

Visa on Arrival (VoA)

A Visa on Arrival is available to eligible nationalities at designated entry points including Ngurah Rai (Bali), Soekarno-Hatta (Jakarta), and other major airports and seaports. The fee is subject to change — check the current amount with the Directorate General of Immigration. VoA can typically be extended once at a local immigration office.

e-Visa

Indonesia's e-Visa (Electronic Visa) allows pre-approved entry and can be applied for online via molina.imigrasi.go.id. Processing times and fees vary by visa type. Apply well in advance of your travel date.

Passport Validity & Conditions

Your passport must typically be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay and must contain at least one blank page. Entry may be refused if you cannot demonstrate onward travel or sufficient funds.
